Town house in need of renovation with courtyard and wine cellar
Spectacular mansion as an investment object
This spectacular mansion house boasts an interior courtyard and a wine cellar. The main floor of the house offers various rooms with high ceilings and traditional tiled floors, a huge hallway with a beautiful archway off of which leads the staircase to the first floor and an office in which the clients were met. Additionally there is the kitchen, the pantry and the service stairs which lead to the attic.
On the first floor you can find further rooms with high ceilings and the bedrooms; some of which have balconies overlooking the main street, whilst others have French doors leading onto the rear patio with views over the rooftops of the village.
Although the original use of the attic is unclear, what is certain is that the views it offers are spectacular.
The wine cellar was designed to give access to the carriages to enable the delivery of grapes and some of the original barrels can still be found under the arches. It is easy to imagine the scene that must have played out in the courtyard, where the laundry room and other outbuildings are also located. Additionally the courtyard has an entrance for the carriages leading in from the street. Over the top of the outbuildings there is a further terrace, which although originally used for hanging out the clothes, can easily be imagined as a the ideal place to locate a swimming pool giving views over the bell tower of the church.
