A rare town palace to restore
Historic jewel in the middle of Santanyi
With this large manor house over three floors from past centuries you buy a rare jewel in the middle of the rising village in the southeast of Majorca. Next to the historical building, you will find a giant plot with Mediterranean plants, two paths and other outbuildings to make this property come back to life.
Large halls, arches and the typical Majorcan atmosphere of past times exude the feeling of history and offer scope for something unique.
The locality Santanyi is surely one of the most adorable places on the east coast. The derivation of the name Santanyi is still discussible. Some claim the name derives from the Latin -Sancti Aini-, -Sanctus Agnus- or -Sancti Agnini- - translated the term means -Holy sheep- – a symbol of Jesus Christ. The sheep is also a part of coat of arms of Santanyi. Others say the name derives from the Arabic -Sanat Anawawil- what means -Coast of leaves huts-. Probably it will never be cleared entirely – however Santanyi is a place worth seeing.
