Calas de Mallorca (or Cales de Mallorca), on the east coast of Majorca, between Porto Cristo and Portocolom, right next to the Cala Murada, belongs to the municipality of Manacor. Originally, the place was not inhabited and has been with the tourist boom to a living area of hotels, chalets and holiday apartments. The place itself is a small resort without the hustle and bustle and very popular for British guests. There are several restaurants, bars and many small boutiques.
The beaches that belong directly to Calas de Mallorca include Cala Antena, Cala Domingos and Cala Romaguera.
The landscape around Calas de Mallorca consists of beautiful pine forests and a rocky coast, in which many partly undeveloped and unspoilt sandy beaches are still embedded, some of which are accessible only on foot or by boat, such as Cala Setrill, Caló des Saldat and Cala Bota.
