Paguera or Peguera is located in the southwest of Majorca not far from the capital city Palma – approx. 23 km. Paguera is a popular bathing resort and it is well-known among tourists. Framed by pine forests and with its location at the seaside the locality is very beautiful. Above all the 3 parts of the beach in Paguera are very popular. The Platja Palmira, the Platja Tora and the small Platja de la Romana are places that attract the tourists. The beaches of Paguera get regularly the blue flag, a quality signet for the clean water and perfect infrastructure. Dreamlike beautiful is having a walk on the port promenade or through the streets of the small locality in the evening.

Pedro IV came here with his ships and reconquered the island. The pirates that traded with slaves – Barbarrosa and Horuch – had here their stop. In 1926 the first house was built in the bay. A lot of movies have been shooted here and the Spanish king Juan Carlos visits this area often.
